The Israeli military has said it has agreed to help evacuate babies from Gaza’s Al-Shifa hospital to a “safer” facility.
The Israeli military has also denied accusations it attacked the hospital – the largest in the territory – but has acknowledged clashes with Hamas fighters in the area.
The Israeli military has repeatedly accused Hamas of operating from tunnels underneath the hospital, which Hamas denies.
