Coronation protesters shout ‘not my King’ – BBC News

While King Charles’s Coronation day was marked by celebrations around the UK, protesters also took to the streets.

During the Coronation ceremony, which was being broadcast in London’s Trafalgar Square over loudspeakers, hundreds of protesters booed the declarations of “God Save the King”.

Other protests were organised in the Welsh capital of Cardiff, as well as the Scottish cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
